Japan’s GX Strategy and Southeast Asia – Video

In November, Japan approved its new Green Transformation (GX) strategy, which is aimed to help Southeast Asian countries transition to clean energy and mobilise significant levels of investment. Critics say that much of Japan’s GX strategy will extend the life of fossil fuels across Southeast Asia, with gas and coal-based ammonia technology featured heavily in the strategy.
